It was 1987 when Karl and Susanne Frühauf decided to found their own haulage company together with the GAW Group. As you would expect from family people like them, they named the company after their son Thomas - not knowing at the time that he would also run the company years later.
With his down-to-earth and trusting way of doing business, Karl Frühauf and his wife laid the foundation for the values that are still central to our family business today.
Much has changed since the company was founded. The world has become more fast-paced and globalised, which also makes customer requirements increasingly complex. While the environment in the forwarding business has changed a lot, personal contact with customers remains a constant for Spedition “Thomas“, which Thomas Frühauf has also carried forward as a core company value from his parents since he joined the company.
